Whale sharks are coming in from the deep water because of the Gulf Oil spill
NOAA released animation depicting how wide the oil spill may spread if the loop current in the Gulf of Mexico is in a typical configuration. It suggests the oil may spread up the Eastern Coast and well into the North Atlantic.
